Channelling

What is channelling?

Channelling is essentially the process of moving and transforming energy from one dimension to the other. The channelling process is named after the central channel that runs through our bodies, along our spines, and connects our nervous system that exists in the physical dimension to other higher non-physical dimensions. Higher dimensional channelling is anchored to the physical body via the heart energy centre.

All of us channel all of the time. Most people do it unconsciously, some of us do it consciously. When you have a ‘lightbulb moment’, that is one form of unconscious channelling, your nervous system has downloaded useful information from either your Higher Self or your guides and translated it via your channel and brain into information you can easily consume in the moment. When you lose track of time doing something that you enjoy or you intently focus on, that is also a form of unconscious channelling; you extend your consciousness to other higher dimensions that exist beyond linear time.

Channelling associated with spiritual work such as the one presented on this Site usually looks like ‘automatic’ writing or verbal channelling. The channeller (aka channel) deliberately focuses on receiving information from higher dimensions through their heart centre, the information feeds into their central channel and then the channeller translates this information into real-time language, either verbal or written.

Everyone can be a channel. Channelling is neither a ‘gift’ nor some sort of ‘power’. There are lots of excellent resources available and we encourage all of you curious and interested to do your own research. Like everything, it takes commitment and practice. Not all of us are born with a natural musical talent but anyone who commits to practising an instrument daily will be able to play music at some point. Channelling is the same, your channel is your instrument and all it takes is sustained conscious effort to engage with it.

What is a trance channel, and do you need to be in a trance to be a channel?

Trance channelling refers to the process whereby the channel (aka channeller) completely removes their consciousness from their body so that the guides or higher dimensional energies can come through without the channel having any awareness of the information. This was very common in the past. Humans and the collective consciousness have evolved over recent decades, and most channels nowadays are able to channel consciously in a light meditative state where they are able to hear all the information they are speaking. This of course will vary from person to person. Trance channelling still exists and is just as valid as conscious channelling. The channeller will naturally channel in the safest and most appropriate manner for them.

What is the difference between mediumship and channelling?

Mediumship refers to the ability of receiving information from other realms within the dimension in which we reside. This process does not happen in a direct way via the central channel but rather in an indirect way via the medium’s innate clairvoyant or clairaudient abilities i.e. their extended energy field. This usually looks like communicating to other humans who have crossed over the astral plane as they went through the death process. Oftentimes mediums will employ tools during the contact such as pendulums, boards, and other artefacts to bolster the connection to the astral realm and help articulate the message. This is commonplace but not necessary. Conscious channels rarely need any artefacts, they only require their trained focus to the higher dimensional connection that brings the information down through the channel.

Another way to look at it would be to see mediumship as an indirect horizontal communication and channelling as a direct vertical communication. Some channels can be mediums and vice versa. The information published on this Site is not related to mediumship whatsoever.

Whenever you are presented with spiritual material, we encourage you to focus on the quality of information that is presented to you instead of focusing on labels such as “medium” or “channel”. You can achieve that by actively monitoring how you feel when you receive the spiritual material. Do you feel constricted or expanded? Do you feel curious to know more or do you feel scared? This should be your only compass when navigating spiritual material of any kind.

How are the “letters” on the blog channelled?

The “letters” are channelled predominantly verbally although some information is on occasion channelled via automatic writing.

The written Light Language archetypes that are embedded in some of the “letters”, are channelled through automatic writing accompanied by channelled ‘signing’ and on occasion verbal Light Language. The final written archetype that you see published extends energetically in our physical space and is encoded with the full message.

Do you edit the channelled messages before publishing them?

The channelling process is fundamentally based on trust and integrity. As such, there is no alteration or modification of the channelled information apart from some necessary editorial changes such as removing duplicate words, correcting grammar if needed etc. Where edits are made, they are practical transcription edits only and do not change the meaning or substance of the message.

Should channelled writing be read as literal, symbolic or both?

Channelled writing is multi-layered and can be both literal and symbolic depending both on the subject matter and on our own state of being at the moment we interact with it. Channelled writing truly goes beyond the written word. Commonly, people will take away different things each time they interact with channelled writing. This is because channelled writing connects with all aspects of us and depending on our energetic state at the moment in which we read the material, different information will jump out at us as noteworthy.

Channelled writing and channelled information in general, should be seen as a new perspective, as an opening, as a nudge that we can maybe approach a topic from a new angle. As such, it should be used and consumed with discernment. Truly high vibrational information will never try to convince you of anything; it will simply present itself and allow you to digest it in your own time and way.

Can different channelled sources describe the same thing differently?

Just as two different people can experience the same set of circumstances differently, so can two different channelled sources describe the same thing differently. The question is not about which channelling source is the ‘right’ one, the question is which channelling source is the right one for you.

How should I approach channelled information if I am new to this?

Approach it with an open mind and an open heart. Monitor your body as you read the channelled information and notice how you feel. Do you feel excited or uncomfortable? Are you curious or triggered? Don’t expect to instantly absorb and assimilate the full energetic signature of the message, instead spend some time reflecting on what jumped out at you and revisit the message if you feel the inclination to do so. Similarly, we recommend that you stop interacting with the information if you don’t feel good. This doesn’t mean that all channelled information is not for you, it just means you have to explore some more to find other channelled sources that can serve you better in the moment.

We also recommend a quick and easy grounding protocol before you interact with the “letters” on this Site or indeed any other channelled information elsewhere. Sit upright, place your feet firmly on the ground and your right hand on your heart. Take a few deep breaths to relax and visualise a root system or a cord extending from the bottom of your spine into the centre of the Earth. Ask it to connect to the Earth and spend few seconds visualizing it. You are now fully grounded.

Light Language

What is Light Language?

Light Language is a 6th-dimensional communication modality that aims to energetically connect the transmitter of the Light Language message to the receiver of it by conveying a particular energetic signature for the purpose of attunement, calibration and alignment. If you are interested in exploring a detailed introduction and explanation of Light Language, we recommend you start by reading the introduction to Light Language by The Sirians and the further explanation by Archangel Michael. Both these posts are written in a simple and practical manner and offer a wonderful foundation for you to start interacting with Light Language.

Is Light Language a language in the usual sense?

No, it is not. Language in the usual sense is a mental tool whereas Light Language is an energetic modality that bypasses our mental faculties. Light Language is intercepted by our extended energetic field, and its absorption is facilitated by our Higher Selves.

How should I work with the Light Language shared on this Site?

The Light Language shared on this Site is of the written type. If you are interested in working with a specific written Light Language attunement or archetype shared with a specific blog post, simply affirm your intention to do so to yourself and ask your body to receive it. Where a Light Language post is intended to be used in a particular way, the beings or collectives sharing it will usually provide specific guidance within the post.

Do specific beings or collectives have their own types of Light Language?

Broadly yes. Even though Light Language originates in the 6th dimension which is universal, each being and collective will inevitably give their own ‘flavour’ to a specific Light Language message or attunement since Light Language is primarily energetic and is tailored to the specific communication requirements between transmitter and receiver.

Can the Light Language available on this Site be reused in client sessions, teaching or group work?

No, it cannot. The Light Language available on this Site, both free and paid, is strictly meant for personal, private and non-commercial use. If you would like to use any of the Light Language on this Site for client sessions, teaching or any other group work, please contact us at info@lettersfromsirius.com and ask for written permission to do so.
