Terms and Conditions

Please read these Terms and Conditions (“Terms and Conditions”, “Terms”) carefully before using lettersfromsirius.com (the “Site”, “Service”).

This Site is operated by AURALINE HOUSE LTD (“we”, “our”, “us”), registered in England and Wales under company number 17237927. This Site is a blog offering free and paid digital content. By using this Site, you (the "user") agree to these Terms and Conditions and agree to abide by them at all times. These Terms and Conditions should be read together with our Disclaimer, Privacy Policy and Copyright notice, which are published on this Site. Please refer to all these documents to make an informed decision about proceeding to use our Site.  If you do not agree to these Terms and Conditions, you should stop using the Site.

Age Restriction

The Site is intended for users aged 18 or over. By using this Site, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old. We do not assume legal responsibility for false statements about age or for any issues arising from a user misrepresenting their age.

Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, all original content on the Site, including free content, subscriber-only content, written posts, channelled material, Light Language material, symbols, graphics created for the Site, logo and site branding, remains the intellectual property of the author and creator of the work, writing and publishing under Letters from Sirius, and is protected by copyright law.

Some graphics, design elements or technical elements may be licensed through third-party platforms such as Canva Pro, Wix or other providers, and remain subject to the relevant licence terms.

Nothing in these Terms transfers any copyright, ownership or other intellectual property rights to users. Please refer to the Copyright notice section of this page for more information on intellectual property ownership and permitted use.

Content, Light Language and Subscriber-only material

All use of Site content is subject to the Copyright notice and these Terms.

Access to the Site, whether free or paid, does not transfer any copyright, ownership or other intellectual property rights in any content.

Where content is made available through a paid membership, your subscription gives you access only. You do not acquire any copyright, ownership, reproduction, distribution, teaching, publication, resale or commercial rights in any content by paying for access.

You may not copy, reproduce, republish, distribute, upload, adapt, translate, sell, exploit or otherwise use any Site content, including Light Language material, without prior written permission.

Sharing an ordinary link to a public page of the Site is allowed. Copying, reposting or redistributing the content itself is not allowed without prior written permission.

For the avoidance of doubt, access to Light Language material, whether free or subscriber-only, does not grant any right to reproduce, share, teach, use in client sessions, group work, recordings, publications or commercial activity unless expressly authorised in writing in advance.

Any permitted use outside personal, private viewing must be agreed in writing in advance.

Membership and subscriptions

We offer paid digital memberships that provide access to subscriber-only content. The details of each membership tier, including pricing, billing frequency and included content, are described on the relevant pages of the Site at the time of purchase.

Membership content is digital content made available for personal, private, non-commercial use only. A subscription gives you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to access the content available under your subscription tier. It does not transfer any ownership rights or copyright in any content.

We may update, amend, replace, remove or reorganise subscriber-only content from time to time. Where changes materially affect an active membership offering, we will take reasonable steps to bring those changes to the attention of affected users.

Billing, renewal and cancellation

Membership subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis as stated at checkout. By purchasing a membership, you agree to the recurring billing terms presented at the time of purchase.

Where self-cancellation is enabled, you may cancel your membership through your account settings or the My Subscriptions page on the Site. If self-cancellation is not available, you can contact us at info@lettersfromsirius.com to request cancellation.

Cancellation stops future renewals. Unless otherwise stated, or unless access is ended immediately in accordance with these Terms, access to subscriber-only content will usually continue until the end of the current billing period already paid for.

Cancellation does not automatically trigger a refund and does not entitle you to a full or partial refund for any unused portion of the current billing period, except where required by applicable consumer law.

We reserve the right to change pricing or membership features in future. Where material changes affect existing subscribers, we will take reasonable steps to notify them before those changes take effect.

Digital content and cancellation rights

By purchasing a membership, you request immediate access to digital content. You acknowledge that subscriber-only content may be made available to you immediately after purchase and that, once access begins, you lose any statutory right to cancel that would otherwise apply to digital content supplied immediately.

Refunds

Because membership provides immediate access to digital content, refunds are not normally available once a subscription has been purchased and access has begun.

Nothing in this clause affects any rights you may have under applicable consumer law where digital content is faulty, misdescribed or otherwise not provided as required by law.

We reserve the right to suspend, restrict or terminate access to subscriber-only content or membership features where we reasonably believe there has been misuse of the Site, unauthorised sharing of content, breach of these Terms, or behaviour that risks harm to the Site, its content or its users.

Where reasonably possible, we will contact you before taking action. In cases involving suspected misuse, unauthorised sharing, security risk or serious breach of these Terms, we may act immediately.

The Site operator, together with its owners, directors, officers, affiliates, agents and service providers will not be liable for any actions, claims, losses, damages, liabilities and expenses including legal fees, from your use of the Site. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any rights that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable consumer law.

Indemnity

Except where prohibited by law, by using this Site you indemnify and hold harmless the Site operator, together with its owners, directors, officers, affiliates, agents and service providers, from any actions, claims, losses, damages, liabilities and expenses, including legal fees, arising out of your use of the Site or your violation of these Terms and Conditions.

Applicable Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Severability

If at any time any of the provisions in these Terms and Conditions are found to be invalid or unenforceable, they will be changed and interpreted to accomplish the objectives of such provisions to the greatest extent possible under applicable law. All other provisions will not be affected and will continue to hold in full force and effect.

Amendments

We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time to reflect changes in law, our services, membership features, pricing, or the way we operate the Site. Changes will take effect when posted on the Site. Where changes materially affect an active membership or subscription, we will take reasonable steps to bring those changes to the attention of affected users before they take effect.
